'Til next time

You'll have to check out my Williams blog to see more details from my time at Williams (Hayden was right----quite possibly the best 4 years one could have. Living and loving in the Purple Valley.)

I met remarkable people who are still my closest friends in this beautiful world. I swam almost every day. Had early morning workouts but loved every moment. The tides turned and Hayden was now the visitor at Tunnel City----but our orders were the same. Iced chai and a sugar cookie. She always stopped on her way to and from New York City working for the United Nations. Hayden never missed one of my home swim meets, and we talked every week to continue our updates on our busy lives.

A surprise to myself especially, I ended up being the Williams class of 2034 salutatorian and gave a speech at commencement on June 4 with Hayden in the front row. She was glowing and we blew a kiss as I stood at the podium. And to think this dream was born running across the quad and through the library stacks at Sawyer.
